The Lathums featured in this week's new music playlist

It’s an eclectic mix of different genres in this week’s new music roundup. Whether you’re into indie bands, UK grime or house music there is something for everyone.

First up with one of the hottest UK rappers around at the minute, Central Cee is back with a new song called One by One. It’s been a busy week for the London rapper, having launched a new collab with Nike and announcing a new album next year. One by One isn’t going to be on the new album, but it should be.

Now for a band from just up the road in Wigan. The Lathums are also having a busy week, having announced their own album and tour for 2025. The new track this week is called Stellar Cast, if you’re into Indie music, you’ll love this one.

Time to go back in time to 1990’s Los Angeles for this next on. Two of the biggest hip-hop artists to ever do it have teamed up once again, but this time with R&B singer Jhené Aiko. Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg’s new track is called Gorgeous. A classic and timeless combination does it again, we feel the nostalgia on this one.

Champion, Four Tet, Skrillex and Naisha have teamed up now to release Talk To Me. This one is for the bassline-house lovers, a must add to your pre-night out playlist.

Finally, for those of you having a chill weekend, here is the best easy listener of the week. Dexter in the Newsagent has released Someone to you, give it a listen.
