One of Manchester’s most iconic bars is set to reopen in the Northern Quarter this month, four years after its closure.
For years Hold Fast was one of the most vibrant and bustling bars in the Northern Quarter throwing legendary parties. However, it closed its doors at the start of the pandemic in 2020 and they were never reopened, until later this month.
Hold Fast has a unique theme and has with it lots of surprises instore for its guests, including a secret cinema room, Sega games area and a nautical-inspired interior after writer Jules Verne.
You can also head downstairs into the sailor’s drinking quarter, where there will be loads of craft beers and cocktails to try. For those brave enough to jump up on stage at open-mic nights, you’ll get yourself a free drink. Extra points from us if you pick a nautical inspired song.
Hold Fast is a bar under Selina, who manage some of the best bars in the Northern Quarter including Wilson’s Social and The Corner Boy, so it’s safe to say they know how to throw a party.
Hold Fast will officially reopen in the Northern Quarter on 29 November.
