Caravan is renowned for its all-day breakfast-to-cocktails offering and exceptional in-house roasted coffee, in London and now the esteemed venue has picked Manchester’s St John’s as its next location.
Get ready for an eclectic, ‘well-travelled’ menu, spanning breakfast through to dinner. The brunch menu includes fresh fruit & grain bowls to fry ups. Now you can get these in loads of places across Manchester, but Caravan go the one extra. Yeah, you’ve had fried chicken and pancakes, how about Korean Style Buttermilk Fried Chicken with kimchi pancakes and gochujang ketchup. Ok, so a classic fried egg on toast is your fave? It was, until you had Fried Jalapeno Cornbread with fried eggs, spinach, curd cheese, mojo verde and chilli butter.
It’s not all about breakfast, in the evening you can get an extensive list of international wines to pair with your rice bowls, slow fermented sough dough pizzas or mouth-watering small plates.
Open throughout the day, no matter whether you’re a night owl or an early bird they’ll be there for your morning cocktail or nightcap coffee (that’s the right way round, right?)
Caravan is all about giving back too, they are famed for their coffee programme and giving back sustainably to their farmers. Whilst the team in Manchester will set up a second roastery to provide beans and specialist training to coffee shops and restaurants from across the North.
The new site will be open seven days a week from 8am on weekdays and 9am at weekends.
Stay tuned, and we’ll let you know when they’re about to open.
