Courts Club opens at St John's

Manchester has a new racket sport venue to fall in love with. Courts Club has opened next door to Union and is offering cheap rentals on courts so you and your mates can battle it out over an intense game of tennis.

The club opened last month promising to become “the ultimate sanctuary for all”, not just for those with a knack for sport. It’ll be hosting tournaments, screening some of the biggest upcoming events, and even offering workspaces for business meetings, as well as just being a place for you to let your inner Andy Murray out.

Courts Club hosts a basketball court and tennis court

If tennis isn’t your bag, the court doubles up as a full-size basketball court. So, whether you fancy yourself as the next Serena Williams or Steph Curry, this is the place for you.

Courts Club also serves food and drink, and will have a busy events calendar from morning coffees to afternoon cold ones, you’re sure to feel welcome. Fancy a taste of the med, Court Club has teamed up with Greek food truck, Lucky Gyros. Perfect for carb loading after an intense battle on the court.
