Halloween weekend is here, and whether you’re spending the weekend with a night out in Manchester or cooking up some Halloween treats and watching a film, we have picked out five tracks released this week to power you through.
First up we have a song less on the spooky side, but more enchanting. RAYE has teamed up with multiple Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer for Mother Nature, the new opening song for David Attenborough’s Planet Earth III. An iconic theme, expect to hear it a lot over the coming weeks.
Chase & Status released one of the most iconic Boiler Room’s ever a few weeks back, and the vibe was impeccable. They have now released a song from that very set. Say The Word is a heavy hitter and will be on repeat all weekend long for us.
One of the most highly anticipated albums of the year has just dropped, we’re talking about Taylor Swift’s re-release of her multi-award winning 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Our pick is one of the new vault tracks called “Slut!”. It isn’t as aggressive as the exclamation mark suggests and it’s well worth a listen.
Green Day are one of those bands everyone instantly recognises, releasing music for over 30 years, and they’re back with a new tune for 2023. The American Dream Is Killing Me is well worth a listen and will have you air guitaring all weekend.
Finally, we have Bluetooth, a new tune from piri and Tommy Villiers. A catchy liquid Drum n Bass beat, make sure you get this one added to the playlist.
