New releases from some of the biggest UK artists for the Bank Holiday weekend including Blossoms

The early May bank holiday is upon us and whether you are planning a chilled one or hitting the town, a load of new music has been released this week to light up your weekend, no matter what vibe you’re after. Here are our top five picks of the new releases this week.

First up we have a track for those going out out this weekend. Barry Can’t Swim has just released Kimbara, a funky house tune that will definitely get you dancing. He’s set to have a memorable summer touring both festivals in the UK and abroad, if you fancy catching one of his sets, he is playing at Parklife, Creamfields and Leeds Fest.

Next up we have one of the best Manchester acts coming out of the city in the last 10 years, Blossoms. Their new track is called ‘What Can I Say After I’m Sorry?’, and if this song tells us anything, it’s that their show in August in Wythenshawe Park will be a memorable one.

V.I.C is an artist that has slowly been increasing in popularity over the last few years, and his inclusion on a Fifa track further propelled him into the limelight. His new track is called What’s she like, featuring Noxz. Definitely worth a listen, and an addition to the playlist.

Next up we have Aluna, once part of the electronic duo AlunaGeorge she decided to go it alone back in 2020, and we aren’t complaining. Her new song is called Ride or Die, give it a listen.

Finally we have Dua Lipa, one of the biggest names in music at the minute and with her new album that was released today, its easy to tell why. Our pick of the bunch of the new tracks is These Walls.
