New music released in the first week of December

December is typically the month where Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé have their time to shine, but if like us, you need a break from the festive tunes, there’s loads of new music to get stuck into. Here are our top five.

First up is Take That who are due to play seven nights across May and June at the Co-op Live Arena next year. The Manchester-born boy band are back with a new song called Where We Are. Make sure you give it a listen and learn all the words to belt them out when seeing them next year.

Busta Rhymes has one of the most recognisable voices in hip hop, and he has teamed up with another artist that has a distinctive vocal range in Burna Boy. The new song is called Roboshotta, perfect listening before hitting one of Manchester’s hip hop bars like Lost in Tokyo.

Swedish singer Zara Larsson is playing at the O2 Academy in February, and to get you excited she has released a new song called Memory Lane. This one is easy listening and is definitely one you should add to your playlist.

Unknown T is back with his EIGHTH single of 2023, and in our opinion the latest one called Bon Appetit is the best of the bunch. Well worth a listen.

Finally, Ella Eyre has teamed up with Tiggs Da Author to release a classic pop tune called Head in The Ground. This one is a funky tune and bound to get you ready for the weekend.
