New Year’s Eve may just be around the corner, but if you don’t have anything planned, don’t worry as it’s not too late to get your plans in order and bring in 2024 in style. We’ve rounded up some of the best things to do on NYE.

It’s been the centre of attention over the last month with Chanel taking over the street, now one of Manchester’s most loved drinking roads is back with the Thomas Street Takeover fresh for 2023. Five bars, five drinks, one party. Joining forces are Wolf At The Door, The Bay Horse Tavern, Cane & Grain, Liquor & Burn and The Smithfield Social. A £25 wristband will get you a drink in each bar, whilst the £30 one will upgrade you to a cocktail at each venue. It’s a great way to get the most out of New Year’s Eve and keep the energy high, bouncing from bar to bar.

One for any Swifties in Manchester, Swiftogeddon is back at the O2 Ritz, prepare for an emotional roller coaster of none-stop Taylor Swift hits. And no doubt some pop floor fillers along the way!

The Warehouse Project NYE party is always one of the best nights of the year and it should maintain that reputation this year looking at the line-up. DJ EZ is back for the second time this year, and bringing with him Rudimental, Hannah Wants, Sammy Virji and Girls Don’t Sync.

Homoelectric is taking place at New Century and like The Warehouse Project has a top draw line-up with Artwork leading the way. He will be joined by Manchester DJ royalty Will Tramp and DJ Paulette, this one isn’t to be missed.

Manchester’s longest running club night, Funkademia, has been filling dancefloors since the 90’s and is back for a New Year’s boogie at Mint Lounge making this their 28th New Year’s Eve event. Dance your way into 2024 with a mix of hip hop, funk and disco.

Much loved Northern Quarter bar, Night & Day, are putting on one of Manchester’s most accessible events. With tickets just £3 you’ll be able to boogie on a budget seeing Soul Glow and Ready For The Floor DJs.

Last but certainly not least is Club Liv which has its New Year’s Eve Golden Hour event. Light shows and dancers will be at the ready to truly get you set for the New Year whilst DJs spin the latest Hip Hop & RnB club hits.
