October is looking like a busy month with loads going on across Manchester including boxing, concerts and club nights, we’ve sifted through the lot to pick out the best October events to add to your calendar.

It’s not October without the Warehouse Project. The pick of the lot is when Boiler Room visits. DJ EZ, Overmono, Moodymann, Joy Orbison and many, many more descend on the Mayfield Depot. It’ll be a night to remember and for just £25 a ticket who can say no. Get yourself down and we’ll see you on the Concourse.

Boxers or social influencers, you decide but long-term rivals KSI v Tommy Fury will face off at the AO Arena, expect every influencer and their dog to be dropping into Manchester that weekend. The Sidemen or The Fury’s are enough to draw a crowd on their own never mind when they go punch for punch.

Blinded by the lights, dizzy new heights! The long awaited The Streets tour comes at the end of October. Showman Mike Skinner and co will be in Manchester at Victoria Warehouse on 27 October celebrating his new album with a tour. Expect high energy, some new tunes and a bit of old stuff from the iconic musician.

On the same weekend, high-octane dance collective – The Chemical Brothers come back to where it all started, Manchester. If you’ve never had chance to catch them live, this is your opp! The pioneers of big beat techno, their sound is iconic and their stage performance is just as good.

Finally, our list is rounded off on a more mellow tone, PJ Harvey is at the Albert Hall at the start of the month. Following the announcement of her new album, the first in seven years, she is back touring with two dates in Manchester. This will be a memorable night of alt-rock!
