Having taken London and Leeds by storm since 2016, Rola Wala is set to open its second permanent restaurant on Deansgate serving up some of the best Indian street food in the city.

They will be serving up the Indian answer to a Subway or the iconic Yorkshire Pudding Wraps that come to Manchester Christmas Markets each year, with their foot long naan wrap which you can pack how you please. The filling choices look incredible with the 10 hour slow cooked Nagaland Pulled Lamb, Bengali spiced beef and Keralan cauliflower being the standouts, and can be topped with all the fresh salads and garnishes you like.

There are loads more items on offer too including rice bowls, curries and even tikka tacos plus a number of other crowd-pleasing sides that will transport you straight back to the streets of Delhi. It’s also open until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays, so we know where we’ll be going after a night out.

Don’t just take our word for how incredible the food is, its starred in some pretty impressive films and programmes including Hollywood film Burnt, being dubbed ‘London’s Best Wrap’ on Saturday Kitchen and featured on Jamie Oliver’s Friday Night Feasts.

With a nice touch, Rola Wala was the first business to join One Feeds Two where each transaction is matched, and a second meal is provided for school children battling hunger in the developing world. So far, they’ve provided a whopping 850,000 free school meals to hungry children.

Rola Wala opens this Thursday 9 November, and if you’re in the queue anytime between 12-3pm on the day you’ll get a free naan roll to try – no catch! Make sure you head down to try them out, you won’t be disappointed.
