Skepta and Flo Milli featured in the new music this week

We haven’t had a week like this in a while, where big names like Charli xcx, The Kid Laroi and Bicep aren’t making the top five releases. Without further ado, here are those that did.

First up we have Nao who has released a new track called ‘wildflowers’. An unmatched voice paired with a funky beat, what’s not to love with this one.

The Wombats have just announced their comeback with a new 2025 tour and are being supported by Union launch party headliners Everything Everything. To mark the announcement, their new song is called ‘Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want To Come’. Make sure you grab tickets to watch this one at the AO Arena in March.

Pete Tong has been releasing banger after banger for years now, and his latest is no different. The ultimate beach club vibe, it’s called Release Me made with Poppy Baskcomb, Jules Buckley and Paul Harris. For the budding DJ’s among you, Pete Tong is offering aspiring DJs the chance to remix the track and will release one on the Ministry of Sound record label.

You may recognise the name Obongjayar from Fred Again’s Adore You release. Now, he’s back with Just My Luck. It’s a funky one, and will have you toe tapping in no time.

Finally, we have UK music royalty with Skepta, who has teamed up with Flo Milli to release Why Lie?. One for the hip hop fans, this one is just a vibe.
