Now there’s a headline I never thought I’d get to write. But as the name suggests (literally) Super Awesome Deluxe is a brand-new smash burger restaurant opening on Thomas Street, created by the same people behind Almost famous, so expectations are pretty high.
The menu here comprises of only three burgers, all made from locally-sourced beef and inspired by the East and West coasts of the USA. In a slightly-bold move, they will also not have a strict end-time, promising to stay open until they sell out each day.
Named as a ‘fast serve smashed burger concept’ they promise to deliver the ‘best f**kin burger people have ever had’ including hand cut fries and homemade sauces which all sound amazing. As well as this they have a playlist of strictly drum & bass and garage to complement the cool, urban design of the place.
The venture currently has a crowd-funder on their website to try and raise £60k to launch the joint, with a whole bunch of different rewards up for grabs depending on how much you donate.
