The MTV’s EMAs are notorious for grabbing headlines from Kanye’s on-stage meltdown to Miley Cyrus lighting a Jay – the EMAs have had it all – perhaps even more wild moments than the brits. And now, Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena has been announced as the next host venue.
The awards show known for celebrating the music with some incredible live performances and it will unfold in Manchester for the first time in its 30-year history. Expect an unforgettable night of music and celeb spotting for the city.
And hopefully it brings along the old Kanye!
The event will broadcast from Manchester’s new arena on MTV in over 150 countries on Sunday 10 November 2024. The show will also be available on Pluto and Paramount+.
It’s not long now until the arena that’s within touching distance of the Manchester City’s Etihad stadium opens its doors with Peter Kay marking the occasion on 23/24 April with two shows. This is followed by a full star-studded line-up of acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Take That, Nicki Minaj and Liam Gallagher to name a few.
