liam and noel gallagher face off in the chart

You’ve made it, the first week of January done. As a reward, some of the biggest artists have released some new ear candy for you and we’ve waded through the lot to pick out the diamonds that need adding to your playlist.

2024’s music releases have got off to a great start with five new tracks from everyone’s favourite comedic singer, Lewis Capaldi who has added five songs and extended his 2023 album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, and the pick of the bunch is undoubtedly Strangers.

Ahead of his four dates at the Co-op Live Arena, Liam Gallagher has released another reason to get excited about his gigs. His new track is called Just Another Rainbow which also features John Squires.

A1 x J1 are back with their latest tune since collabing with local lad Aitch back in Autumn. Pretty Girls Love DBE is an easy listener that definitely needs adding to your playlist.

Myles Smith is one of those artists that has risen to popularity mainly through TikTok, and we’re glad he did. His new record is called Behind and is a real gem of this week’s releases.

Finally, we have the other Gallagher brother with a release from Noel’s High Flying Birds’ the record In A Little While. A strong week for both brothers, and it’s tough to decide which had the better release, however I’m sure they’ll both be watching each other’s downloads and streams with their peak inter sibling rivalry we love to watch. Get the popcorn!
